Welcome to The Saree Destination. These Terms of Service govern your use of www.sareedestination.com and any order you place with us, whether through the website, WhatsApp or Instagram.
Please read them before placing an order. By browsing the site or buying from us, you accept these Terms.
1. Who You Are Dealing With
This website is owned and operated by Praveen Kumar M, a sole proprietor trading as The Saree Destination.

In these Terms, "we", "us" and "our" refer to The Saree Destination. "You" refers to the person browsing the site or placing an order.
2. Acceptance of These Terms
By accessing the site, creating an account, or placing an order through any of our channels, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy and Return & Refund Policy, each of which forms part of this agreement.
If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use the site or place an order.
3. Who Can Buy From Us
You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a legally binding contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872. If you are under 18, you may use the site only with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian, who accepts responsibility for the order.
By placing an order, you confirm that the information you give us — name, delivery address, phone number and email — is accurate and belongs to you or to someone who has authorised you to use it.
4. Your Account
You do not need an account to buy from us, but if you create one, you are responsible for keeping your login details private and for any activity that happens under your account. Tell us immediately if you believe someone else has accessed it.
We may suspend or close an account that we reasonably believe is being used fraudulently, or to place bulk or resale orders, or in a way that breaches these Terms.
5. Products, Colours and Descriptions
We describe every saree as accurately as we can, and we photograph our products ourselves.
Please keep in mind:
- Colour will vary between screens. The shade you see on your phone or monitor will not exactly match the fabric in daylight. This is a limitation of screens, not a defect.
- Handloom and handwork sarees carry natural irregularities. Slight variation in weave, zari, print alignment and finish is characteristic of hand-made textiles and is not a manufacturing fault.
- Measurements are approximate. Saree length and blouse piece dimensions may vary marginally from those listed.
- Blouse pieces are unstitched unless the product page says otherwise, and blouse colour may vary slightly from the saree.
Every saree is stocked in limited quantity. Listing a product on the site is not a guarantee that it is in stock at the moment you order.
6. Orders Placed Over WhatsApp and Instagram
We accept orders through WhatsApp and Instagram direct messages as well as through the website.
An order placed over WhatsApp or Instagram is confirmed only once we have sent you a written confirmation and received full payment. Until then, no order exists and the product remains available to other customers. Screenshots of a conversation, a product enquiry, or a stated intention to buy do not by themselves create an order.
These Terms apply to WhatsApp and Instagram orders exactly as they apply to website orders.
7. Prices and Payment
All prices are listed in Indian Rupees (INR) and are the final amount payable. There are no separate taxes, handling charges or convenience fees added at checkout.
We accept prepaid orders only. We do not offer Cash on Delivery. Payment must be completed in full before an order is dispatched.
We may change prices, run promotions, or withdraw offers at any time without notice. A price change will not affect an order that has already been paid for.
Pricing errors. If a product is listed at an obviously incorrect price because of a technical or human error, we are not obliged to sell at that price. If this happens after you have paid, we will contact you to either confirm the order at the correct price or cancel it and refund you in full.
8. When an Order Becomes Binding on Us
Your order is an offer to buy. The confirmation email or message you receive after payment acknowledges that we have received your order — it does not mean we have accepted it.
The contract between us is formed only when we dispatch the product.
We may decline or cancel an order before dispatch if:
- the product is out of stock or damaged in stock;
- there was an error in the price or product description;
- we cannot verify the payment, or we suspect the payment is fraudulent;
- the delivery address is outside the area our courier partners serve;
- we reasonably believe the order is for resale, or is a bulk order placed as a retail order;
- we are prevented from fulfilling it by circumstances outside our control.
If we cancel a paid order for any of these reasons, we refund you in full. We will not be liable to you beyond that refund.
9. Promotions, Discount Codes and Sale Terms
Discount codes and promotional offers are valid only for the period stated, cannot be exchanged for cash, and cannot be combined with another offer unless we say so.
Discounts such as "upto 50% off" mean that the stated maximum applies to selected products only, not to every product. The discounted price shown on the product page is the price you pay.
We may withdraw or amend a promotion at any time. Orders already paid for under a promotion are not affected.
10. Shipping and Delivery
Shipping is governed by our Shipping Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
In short: we ship through DTDC, Professional Couriers and India Post. Delivery timelines quoted on the site are estimates from the date of dispatch, not the date of order, and are not guaranteed. We are not liable for delays caused by courier partners, weather, strikes, festival backlogs or other circumstances beyond our control.
Risk in the product passes to you on delivery.
11. Returns, Exchanges and Refunds
Returns, exchanges and refunds are governed by our Return & Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
Because all orders are prepaid, refusing a delivery without a valid reason does not cancel your order. If you refuse a parcel that is not damaged or incorrect, and it returns to us, we will refund the order value less the actual return shipping cost we incur.
12. Our Content and Intellectual Property
All content on the site and on our social media channels — product photographs, videos and Reels, styling images, written descriptions, the The Saree Destination name, our logo, and the layout and design of the site — belongs to us or is used by us under licence.
You may not copy, reproduce, republish, edit, or use our photographs, videos or product descriptions for any commercial purpose, including listing our images on your own store or marketplace account, without our written permission.
Personal, non-commercial sharing — reposting one of our Reels to your story with credit, for example — is welcome.
We take image and content theft seriously and pursue it with the relevant platforms.
13. Reviews and Anything You Post
If you send us a review, photograph, video or comment, you keep ownership of it, but you grant us a free, worldwide, non-exclusive right to use, reproduce and display it in connection with our business, including on our website, social media and marketing, without further permission or payment.
By sending us content, you confirm that it is yours to share, that it does not infringe anyone else's rights, and that it is not unlawful, misleading, obscene or defamatory.
We may remove any content at our discretion. We are not obliged to publish anything you send us.
14. How You May Not Use the Site
You agree not to:
- use the site for any unlawful purpose, or in breach of any Indian law;
- place orders using someone else's payment details, or with false information;
- resell our products as new without our written authorisation;
- scrape, crawl, copy, or systematically extract our product data, images or catalogue;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, its servers, or any customer data;
- introduce viruses, or interfere with the site's operation;
- impersonate The Saree Destination or any of our staff.
We may restrict or block access to anyone who breaches this clause.
15. Third-Party Links and Services
Our site connects to third-party services including payment gateways, courier partners, WhatsApp and Instagram. We are not responsible for the content, policies or practices of these third parties, and your use of their services is governed by their own terms.
16. Disclaimer
We provide the site and our products in good faith and with reasonable care. To the extent permitted by law, we do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted or free of errors, or that product colours will display identically on every device.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any right you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, or any other law that cannot be excluded by agreement.
17. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you in connection with any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.
We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss — for example, loss arising because a saree did not arrive in time for a specific occasion. If a delivery date is critical, please order well in advance and tell us before you pay.
18. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify us against any claim, loss or expense arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the site, or content you submit to us.
19. Force Majeure
We are not liable for any failure or delay caused by events outside our reasonable control, including natural disasters, floods, epidemics, strikes, riots, government restrictions, courier network failures, power or internet outages.
20. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with them is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Chitradurga, Karnataka.
21. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the time you place an order is the version that applies to that order. Please check this page periodically.
22. Severability
If any part of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.
